2020 Sweetwater Beach E.Coli Results

** E. Coli levels over 235 CFU's per 100 ml can cause for a beach to be closed. Sweetwater Beach is sampled every week in two locations between Memorial Day and Labor Day. These results are shared with the Brown County Health Department as well. Drinking water requires less than 1 CU per 100ml. Several contaminants can cause E. Coli presence including animal feces (geese), storm runoff, and sewer/ septic runoff. **
