Beginning Monday, October 12 at 10:00 a.m., Sweetwater Drive will be closed across the Sweetwater Dam from Warbler Drive to the Sweetwater Marina.
The closure is expected to last approximately two weeks, but could extend through October 30 depending on weather or unforeseen issues.
Contractors will be performing core sampling of the Sweetwater Dam. This work is necessary for the DNR dam rating process and will also provide our engineering firm with important information to help determine the best solution for the upcoming Sweetwater Spillway project.
Please plan to use an alternate route during the closure. We appreciate everyone’s patience while this important work is completed!
